Injections for India
Off to India in just over a week, so I got my shots… Got my standard booster up to date (tetanus, polio, smallpox) and got typhoid and hepatitus A/B shots - all of which apparently are prevalent in most areas of India. Also got Malaria pills which were costly. Apparently the Malaria medication comes in different grades, the cheaper it is, the more bizarre side effects it has. I opted for the most costly ($6/pill but since I wasn’t paying anyway) and should have none of the hallucinations that occur with the others. Now I’m all “pharmacied” up, I’m set for the trip which should be unlike anything I have done to date. Right now my arms are very sore and I can’t easily lift them above my head.
