I think I finally have my allergies under control. Today I seriously couldn’t see my computer screen for 30 minutes because my eyes were so bad, it was most uncomfortable. Got some Sinutab on the way home and within short order everything seems to be on the road to clearing up.

It’s been 5 years since the WTC was destroyed and Karen and I were talking that not much in North America has changed despite half a decade of “war on terror”. I’m amazed… sure, it’s slightly more difficult to travel, but overall, life is as it was for us, while there have been huge changes overseas. I’m actually very surprised that the terrorists didn’t actually do anything on the anniversary of such a horrific event — seems like something that would have been very effective had they done even something small. It’s a scary world we all live in, doesn’t seem worth it to get too caught up in what “could happen”.
