Sales; I want that job
July 19th, 2006
I went to a sales meeting today. It seems to be tough work… 9:30-noon meetings, followed by lunch, then 1-4pm watching a Red Sox game (they won), then 4-5:30pm having an after game drink, then 5:30-8pm meetings again.

It’s not all fun and games:
- away from the family much of the time
- highly volatile position measured by one thing and one thing only
- responsible for selling products and ideas that are generated in HQ, while only actually visiting HQ a couple times per year
Now if only I could be a developer!
- ice cream Fridays (whose crazy idea was that)
- Warcraft in the office
- company parties
- nine to five with a 5-minute commute
- pants optional

Oh snap! Why ever did you leave Pete? You know you loved the “no pants ice cream war fridays”.
